I completed a double degree: Bachelor of Science - Major in Mathematics - Minor in Chemistry Bachelor of Education - Teaching placements included local eastern suburbs, rural Victoria and internationally in Malaysia Before university I was dux of my high school with an ATAR above 95.

Been teaching for 3 years in a local high school in the eastern suburbs. Had numerous teaching placements while studying at university, including multiple metropolitan high schools, in rural Victoria and internationally in Malaysia. Throughout my time at university I tutored a number of students, giving me a keen insight into how to best use session time.

Hi my name is Sean :) I have been a teacher in a local eastern suburbs high school for 3 years, teaching mathematics from Year 7 through to Year 12. I thoroughly enjoy my job and look forward to teaching each of my classes every day. I have a conceptual approach to teaching, meaning I take students through the patterns in their topics, trying to link these concepts to things they can already understand. This leads to the "ahh" moment (or the lightbulb moment) and is retained and applied better in the future.
