I have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Chemical and Process Engineering. I earned these through Monash University.
Experience
I have been working as a private tutor for more than 15 years. I love to see my students achieve great success in their studies. It is a great pleasure for me to help my students to understand the concepts of Science and Mathematics. Furthermore, I have extensive voluntary experience in teaching children from different cultures and languages. I can speak four languages: English, Mandarin, Malay, and Cantonese. Students will be assessed qualitatively three times each term to monitor their progress in the subjects. The outcome-based learning methodology I follow in study sessions keeps the discussion focused on the problems. A learner-focused teaching approach is my priority, in which the topic of the subjects is planned according to the student's strengths and weaknesses. A positive and supportive learning environment is provided to inspire the interest of learning in the students.
