Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia

Education

Bachelor of Archaeology at La Trobe University (2011), Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) at La Trobe University (currently completing)

Experience

I have completed my required practicum days as a Secondary History/Humanities teacher as part of my Graduate Diploma of Education. I also have experience in an Adult ESL classroom as a classroom aid, which I am still doing, and am currently working one-on-one and in small groups with Primary School students in a school run reading recovery program. During one year of my Undergrad degree I worked as a Residential Assistant in a Residential College which involved student liaison and mentoring. I have also been a University Orientation Host which involved bits of students liaison and mentoring among other duties.

Availability

Tues/Thurs after 4PM, Weekends after 2PM

Can Meet

Up to 25 minutes away for no additional charge

Hobbies

As you can see from my experience that student mentoring has been a big part of my life, as well as History and Archaeology. I really enjoy the Social Sciences, particularly Archarology and Anthropology. Non-Academically I love reading, cooking and swimming, some of which I incorporate into my more academic interests.
