EducationCompleted 1st year B Science (Chemistry and Neuroscience Major) at Melbourne university with straight 1st class honours
ExperienceThroughout my education I have found that the best way to learn and to teach is to create a rounded learning environment. To truly learn something you have to hear it, write it, understand it and even teach it. At school I cruised through the IB and obtained a 94.15 ATAR which I was bitterly disappointed about. Since then I have learnt to learn efficiently, resourcefully, creatively and most of all enjoyably. The key to learning is making it fun and that is how I achieved an 87 percent average in first year science at UOM. After working with me, you will see and interact with the vast possibilities of science, be excited by learning, and confidently believe that anything is within your intellectual capacity.
I have tutored extensively sometimes working with students who knew very little about the subject and were extremely stressed, and I have always produced fantastic outcomes.
I base my teaching style around the slight cliché Benjamin Franklin quote:
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
HobbiesI am a passionate musician, surfer, cook and love teaching
