I lived in France for a total of three years, during which I perfected my French and achieved native-like proficiency. I am fully bilingual and have a Master's degree in linguistics from France in addition to a Master of Arts in Translation and Interpreting Studies from Monash University. I am a NAATI accredited professional translator and interpreter. I have experience teaching both French and English. I taught English for more than two years in France to children and adults. I am flexible and can cater lessons to your needs and learning style. I make lessons educational, fun and encouraging and always base my methods on solid, evidence-based teaching methods. Not only can I teach you how to speak French or English better, but I can teach you to feel confident while doing so! As I also have a Master's degree in Linguistics, I am also able to provide lessons and extra help in that field as well. I am particularly strong in sociolinguistics, research methods, phonology and phonetics. I love languages and linguistics. I speak Spanish and am currently working on bringing my Portuguese up to speed. I'm also an avid reader of fiction.
