Experience
Ideal tutor for mathematics students and a serviceable Physics tutor. I am currently a student at RMIT, studying Civil Engineering. I am a friendly and easy going person who possesses a strong desire to help students at both primary and secondary level achieve their goals. I tutored my brother and his best friend throughout their high school education in both physics and maths all the way through to Year 12 Methods. My brother recommended me to his other friends during their final year due to my success in tutoring him. On top of this, during my own VCE I tutored my girlfriend's year 10 sister on maths and physics, and several of my friends on Maths Methods including helping one progress from failing the first 3 tests of the year to receiving a study score of 28. My strength as a tutor is creating an impromptu problem based around the area my student is currently studying to help them grasp a concept or to help further their understanding of the maths involved so they're able to apply it to questions they haven't encountered before. I have a very thorough understanding of the ATAR system and how study scores are given and can provide detailed advice on study strategies and exam strategies. Being in my third year of a full time bachelor degree I can also give any advice on University. I enjoyed tutoring my brother and would love to pass on knowledge I have gained throughout my education to those are needing to/willing to learn.

Hobbies
Believe it or not, I really enjoy teaching and solving maths! It's extremely satisfying understanding a difficult concept and then applying it to a problem, and helping someone else to feel that same satisfaction is even more rewarding. My main passion and love is music and I've learnt a variety of instruments including; bass guitar, piano, drums, guitar and trombone. I play competitive soccer all year round (futsal and outdoor) and have previously played competitive netball, basketball and cricket. As a current student and relatively experienced tutor for my age, I am able to relate to my students on an academic and personal level.
