I studied banking finance at Monash University.

Experience

I have taught basic Japanese to students from RMIT University in Melbourne, and am fluent in English, Chinese, Japanese, Bahasa Indonesia, and Hokkien. While my first language is English, I speak Chinese at home, Japanese to friends, and Bahasa to relatives. I love to teach and help students reach for their goals and gain new skills and confidence. When working in a one-on-one environment, I structure lessons based on their learning style and use the most appropriate teaching method and learning materials to ensure they make progress. Subject areas I can also cover include high school math, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. I teach through conversation and interaction while helping to engage and excite each student in the subject that they are learning. My goal is for each person I tutor to reach for their potential and set higher and more aspirational goals in their academic and professional career.
