Education
I am currently studying for a Master of Computer Science degree at the University of Melbourne. I have previously completed a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in computing and software systems.
Experience
I completed my high school education in Melbourne, achieving an IB score of 40/45 (98.05 ATAR). I was also captain of multiple sporting teams, as well as the Alexander Wawn scholar. I enjoy helping other students succeed and I know what it takes to learn and do well in high school. Many topics are rushed and taught quickly at school while I like to break down the ideas underpinning these topics to give students a deeper understanding of the relevant concept or subject. I especially enjoy teaching mathematics as it is an area I worked hard and excelled in as a high school student. I also enjoy teaching programming and can provide tutoring in C, Java, C#, and Python. I currently work part-time in the tech industry and have extensive experience working as a tutor. I have worked with more than 20 students ranging from Year 5 to university level, in addition to previously working as a junior sports coach. I have good communication skills, which is a great asset in a tutor.

Hobbies
I play competitive water polo, basketball and enjoy learning other languages in my spare time. I speak french at an advanced level and enjoy learning Spanish when I can. I enjoy playing and coaching sport, game programming and problem solving through programming. I find the challenge of learning new topics a rewarding experience and therefore enjoy helping others reach the point at which they can solve problems, and learn on their own.
