I worked as a full-time Chinese tutor at the Taiwan Mandarin Institute for three years, giving me plenty of experience helping students pursue their language-learning goals. I'm a native Chinese speaker with a degree in English Literature, so I can effectively communicate in both languages. I also speak some Japanese. I can tutor all levels of Mandarin Chinese, ranging from basic concepts such as sentence structure to the nuance of written Chinese characters. I can also help you prepare for several standardized exams that cover the language, including the SAT Subject Test in Chinese with Listening and AP Chinese Language and Culture. Most importantly, I can act as a consistent conversation partner to help you practice your existing skills while developing new ones.
