I am studying to earn my bachelor's degree in biomedicine at the University of Melbourne.

Experience

I have had experience teaching VCE English and EAL, IB English Language A, literature, and English for year 10. Through trial and error, I have had the opportunity to learn to communicate the content better, initiate discussions with students, and provide an engaging and insightful way of teaching. I completed the IB in November of 2016, so I am familiar with the structure and requirements of the IB. As such, I can offer tailored help for IB students. Moreover, I am very aware of the myriad of non-academic challenges that IB students face, and I sincerely hope to offer help in those areas. I also have access to an extensive collection of past papers, along with my detailed study notes that I am willing to share with my students. On a more abstract note, I believe that curiosity and enthusiasm are the keys to obtaining excellent grades, and more importantly, to enjoy the learning process, and I have a deeper understanding of the content studied. Therefore, I strive to kindle interest in my students for the subjects that they are studying. I also believe that education should be personalized, and I strive to cater my teaching to meet each student's needs and help him, or her achieve the best results and thoroughly enjoy learning.
