I received my Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Pune, where I majored in accounting with a minor in cost and works accounting. I obtained my Master of Management in accounting from the Melbourne Business School at the University of Melbourne.
Experience
I worked as a teacher's assistant at the St. Mira's College for Girls. I also worked as a private tutor, where my responsibilities included tutoring a homeschooled year ten student in math, science, English, and geography. I also tutored a year seven student in math and science. Further, I had to prepare lessons, and assign and correct homework, as well as prepare and correct tests. I also had to evaluate the progress of my students and discuss their results with my students and/or their parents. I was additionally tasked with identifying the individual learning needs of my students and tailoring my lessons to take their individual requirements into account.

Hobbies
I have been working as a tutor for the past 5 years providing customized tutoring services to students. My ability to work with students, teachers and parents in order to find out their weakest points, and the aspiration to work towards providing strengthening services has been commended many times. Additionally, I possess a positive attitude and a passion to assist struggling learners. I understand that excellent academic transcripts are corroboration for knowledge and level of education, but a skill to impart knowledge at a level that the student can understand is imperative. The best part of my day is always working with children on a one-to-one basis. Seeing the joy in their eyes when they finally grasp a concept is the ultimate reward that brought me to teaching in the first place. I believe that working, as a tutor would keep that delight going. I love working with children and young adults alike. I have been doing this for a long time, and I understand that each child is different and special and needs encouragement and a mentor like figure to help them realise and utilize their potential
