Education

I received my Bachelor of Arts in history from Oberlin College. I also studied history and Spanish at the Universidad Torcuato di Tella, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I received my Master of Science in marketing communication from the University of Melbourne.

Experience

I taught English in South Korea from 2013-2016. I instructed students of all ages and abilities, from 6-year-old children to 50-year-old adults. I taught speaking, grammar, writing, reading, and listening. During my first year there, I taught at a private academy called Jungchul Language Academy. During the next two years, I taught for the Gyeongsangnam Do Office of Education at two public middle schools. I have tutoring experience in English, Spanish, and essay writing. This tutoring experience includes conversation sessions, grammar lessons, pronunciation practice, listening drills, and essay correction. I've tutored children, teenagers, university students, and adults. I'm fluent in Spanish. In 2012, I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I attended the Universidad Torcuato di Tella. I studied Argentinian history and literature there. I also worked at the Middlebury Language Academy's Spanish immersion program for high school students in 2011.
