Education

I have a Master of Contemporary Arts degree from the VCA at the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours, a Graduate Diploma in Film and TV from the same institution, a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary), and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from UNSW. I have also won numerous awards as an artist, including a NAVA Australian Artist's Grant (with Caroline Phillips), a Fiona Myer and Myer Foundation National Travel Grant, and a Fiona Myer and Myer Foundation International Grant.

Experience

I am currently working as an art educator at RMIT. I have an educational background which puts me in an excellent position for proofreading and editing essays, applications, research proposals, and all levels of theses (Honours, master's, Ph.D.). I am currently editing the thesis of a Master of Fine Arts (VCA) student as well as tutoring in English. I taught in the Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing program (screenwriting, short story writing, novel writing) for 12 years.

Hobbies

I am currently working as an art educator at RMIT. I am an artist but I have also made short films that have screened nationally and internationally and won prizes. I have a love for language and l enjoy seeing students improve. Other interests include Italian, Zumba, art and reading.
