Education

I completed a Bachelor of Education degree at McGill University with a GPA of 3.88/4, graduating in June of 2016. I majored in physical and health education as well as secondary teaching subjects of physics, biology, Jewish studies, English, and writing. At the moment, I am completing a Doctorate of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne and will be entering my first clinical placement in August.

Experience

I have prior experience working as a teacher at Hampstead Elementary School, Royal West Academy, Akiva Elementary School, and Mackay Center School, all of which are in Montreal, Canada. In addition to this, I have also previously worked as a substitute English teacher for the English Montreal School Board. I have expertise in the field of special education, working with children with learning and physical disabilities. I have taken classes and courses related to physics, biomechanics, kinesiology, health and education, anatomy, physiology, biology, neuroscience, cardiorespiratory topics, statistics, research methods, and essay writing. I am also a sports coach and a retired university-level athlete.

Hobbies

I personally love everything sports. I played American football and rugby in university while also running track and field. I also love movies. I try to watch a wide range of movies to see the best in each genre. I also play a few different instruments. I'm proficient with a saxophone and also I play guitar as a stress relief. I find music is the best anxiety cure and a great escape when school becomes overwhelming.
