I have a bachelor's degree in Asian studies and politics. I also have a postgraduate degree in arts (Asian studies) from the University of Melbourne. Additionally, I have a diploma of languages (Mandarin Chinese) from RMIT University, and I am currently studying the Cambridge Certificate in English in Language Teaching to Adults.
Experience
I have an excellent academic record, including HSK level 3 (Mandarin Chinese), a keen interest in China, and advancing the outcomes of Chinese students studying English. Now, I tutor English and ESL/ELL. I have extensive experience in these subjects, and I feel comfortable teaching them at all levels. Private language tutoring is an excellent academic resource for all types of students. If you have fallen behind in your coursework due to being confused about a foundational concept, I can help you get back on track. Or, if you have become bored in class and need to be challenged, I can introduce you to higher-level material and concepts. I can break even the most difficult concepts down so that they are smaller, easier steps. Then, I can walk you through each step.
