Education

I have a Bachelors degree with honours in Archaeology from La Trobe University. I have a Certificate of Teaching English to Adults (CELTA) from RMIT. I am currently studying a Masters of Teaching (Primary and Secondary) at Monash University.

Experience

I have volunteered as a tutor of Maths and English at Alia Secondary college and as an EAL/ESL teacher and tutor at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Preston Reservoir Adult Community Education. I have also worked as an EAL/ESL teacher in Morocco, and as an online EAL tutor for children in China. I am currently studying my Masters of teaching at Monasdh University and have done placements at primary and secondary schools. I am also currently a committee member of the Students Teaching English to our World (STEW) club at Monash. I love getting to teach, I always feel I'm learning as much as my students! It's also something of a creative outlet, I always like to try new ways of teaching.
