I have a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish from Exeter University, and studied Spanish and French at King's College London.
Experience
I have worked as a tutor and a teacher for 4 years, teaching Spanish, French, and English as well as math and science. For 3 years, I have taught Spanish and French at the secondary level, and tutored English privately in Madrid for a year. My experience in teaching course content, from beginner to advanced levels, and in exam preparation makes me flexible in the assistance I can provide. I am very positive and enjoy working with people. During my lessons, I bring a calm, patient atmosphere in which my students feel supported and mistakes are welcome. I build off each student's skill level and constructively point out mistakes that they can learn from. Subject areas I can cover include Spanish 1/2/3/4, English, AP Spanish Language, AP Spanish Literature and Culture, and exams such as CLEP Spanish and the SAT Subject Test in Spanish.
