Education
I obtained the top enter score of 99.95 in VCE in 2008. I received a Melbourne University National Scholarship to study Commerce/ Law and specialised in Economics and Competition Law. I received First Class Honours in Law and Dean's Honours Awards in Commerce, and subject prizes in Economics at university.
Experience
I have almost 10 years of commercial experience working in economics and law. I have worked in Competition Law at a top-tier law firm, and now work in Mergers, a role that uses both my economics and law expertise. I have previously tutored students privately in VCE Economics and Maths Methods and am now tutoring students in VCE Economics. My goal in teaching you is not just to follow the textbook or to go over bit by bit what you've already learned in class because you've already done that once so why put you through it again. My goal is to be able to pick out for you what's really important, what you really need to know in a topic, and to explain those concepts in a different way that's going to make sense and stick in your mind. I have my own set of summary notes that I provide to students, and I model this on what you need to know for the exam and what examiners expect of students.

I focus on teaching my students to study smarter not harder. I always tailor my approach to the needs and goals of each student as there is no "one size fits all". I have two young kids so teaching them everyday has given me a lot of patience and new skills :)
