Experience
Since graduation, I have been working as an English and Chinese teacher. I have always been passionate about teaching. I have experience tutoring students ranging in age and skill from elementary to graduate school, and I specialize in Chinese and Mathematics. Because I am able to teach a variety of ages, I am able to incorporate different teaching techniques to suit each student's learning style and academic level. I tutor using a variety of concrete examples and notes, and I encourage students to continually practice using their skills so that they achieve success independently. I can work on the material that is most important for a student, and I can lead them through the content at whatever pace is best for their goals. I am able to create a personalized, comfortable learning environment for students.
