I have a Ph.D. in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Letters and Honours degree in Philosophy and Literary Theory. I also have a bachelor's in History.
Experience
I currently teach History and Philosophy at Trinity College, University of Melbourne. I have lectured and tutored at Monash University and Deakin University over the past 10 years. I have experience working with students from a wide variety of backgrounds, especially students from international backgrounds. I am also available for proofreading doctoral, master's, and honors theses. I have a current Working with Children check. In addition, I am also an accredited Youth Mental Health First Aider. I offer tutoring in philosophy, English, literature, European history, world history, history, and guitar. Some of the topics we can go over for world history include the rise of Islam, the African origins of humanity, ancient Egyptian culture and society, agrarian India and China, and the Americas and Oceania.
