I have a master's degree in chemistry from The University of Durham, UK, and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from The University of Manchester, UK.
Experience
I tutored a number of students while studying for my degrees, especially my Ph.D. I am particularly well-versed in organic chemistry but am happy to help with other areas, such as general chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and physical chemistry. While teaching students in China for 6 months, I gained experience in a variety of different teaching techniques. I have found past teaching opportunities to be enjoyable and am actively helping more students who are struggling in chemistry, a subject I am very enthusiastic about. I enjoy sharing my passion for concepts in this subject and in addition to teaching the basics, I try to motivate others to feel as excited about it as I do. Having worked at pharmaceutical and agrochemical companies enables me to relate course content to specific real-world applications.
