Education
Graduating as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Melbourne, I am a junior doctor at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I previously earned a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, majoring in bioengineering systems from the University of Melbourne in 2017. I graduated with first-class honors. Concurrently, I hold a diploma of languages from the University of Melbourne, specialisting in French language and literature. My VCE scores were 47 in Biology, 47 in Mathematics Methods, 49 in French, and 47 in Chemistry.
Experience
From GAMSAT to VCE French, I have more than seven years of tutoring experience. My focus has always been on concept applications. Having worked in bioengineering, I understand the importance of integrating concepts. I strive to take my students beyond memorizing formulae by contextualizing the fundamental principles of math, physics, biology, and chemistry. I allow my students to exceed their own expectations and achieve academic success. My GAMSAT score places me in the top 1% of all students, with 78 in Section II and 83 in Section III. This psychometric exam requires much more than first principles science to achieve a high score. I teach my students techniques that help them develop a winning strategy to acing the GAMSAT. It goes without saying that I tailor my tutoring style to my student's demands and supplement my sessions with practice materials and notes to reinforce new concepts. I am also available for medical interview training. I have extensive personal experience both sitting and preparing candidates for both the MMI process and portfolio-based interviews.
