Experience
I have volunteer experience teaching English to migrants and refugees, so I understand both the challenges and rewards of ESL instruction. I speak fluent English, enabling me to model what words are supposed to sound like so my pupils have an example to follow. I am also open to any questions my students have, allowing them to seek clarification before they begin to feel discouraged by their lack of progress. I can help with all aspects of the English language, including reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and sentence structure. I can also focus on the specific aspects of the language that most interest you. For example, we can focus on conversational English if you're planning a trip to New York City, or we can concentrate on test prep if you're studying English in a scholastic setting.
