I have a master's degree with first-class honors in history and a Ph.D. in Latin from the University of Melbourne. I also have a current VIT registration.
Experience
I have expert knowledge in Latin, studying the subject at school and in college for more than 10 years, and have taught and tutored it from year 7 to VCE at Melbourne Grammar School and Xavier College. During that time, I taught or tutored some of the highest-performing VCE students in the state. Now, I tutor Latin at any level, from beginners to advanced learners. I know that learning a new language can be difficult to make it easier by breaking difficult concepts down into smaller, more manageable components. Then, I can walk you through each part until you are comfortable moving forward. I can help you learn Latin whether you are learning it for an upcoming trip, for graduation requirements, or for your career.
