Graduated in 2015 as School Dux with a perfect ATAR of 99.95, from St Catherine's School. Awarded Premier's VCE award for Top All-Round VCE High Achiever, including a perfect score of 50 in Specialist Maths. Currently in the final year (MD4) of Doctor of Medicine at the University Melbourne. Completed Bachelor of Biomedicine (Chancellor's Scholars Program) in 2018, with H1 Honours. Majored in Immunology.
Experience
Passionate about tutoring, with years of private tutoring experience in Y7-10 Maths, VCE Mathematical Methods, VCE Specialist Maths, VCE Chemistry, and VCE Biology. In 2021, two students achieved 50+ in Specialist Maths after scaling, and several students scored 45+ in the subjects I tutored. Also offering medical school interview tuition/MMI, for both undergraduate and postgraduate interviews. Familiar with both in-person and online interview processes. Conducted mock MMIs for previous students and for several tuition companies. Offer comprehensive lesson plans according to the student's needs and goals, working through exam/textbook questions to make sure the student has a solid understanding of the underlying concept; also willing to provide personal notes and extra revision materials. Experienced at assessing student's progress throughout tutoring sessions to identify weak areas. And of course, the exact details of the sessions will be tailored to each individual.
