Education
I received a 99.90 on my ATAR from St. Kevin's College as Proxime Accessit. I then received my Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, (Chancellor's Scholars program). I attained a WAM of 85.25 through my BBMED undergraduate and achieved a score of 89 in Unimelb Maths extension program in 2015. I am currently enrolled in Postgraduate Medicine degree at the University of Melbourne.
Experience
I have tutored students for the past 4 years primarily in VCE Chemistry, VCE Maths Methods, VCE Specialist Maths, and occasionally VCE Physics at both the 1/2 and 3/4 levels. My students of 2016/2017/2018 received outstanding 40+ scores in Math Methods and Specialist Maths and achieved High ATARs 99.60 and 99.70. I am willing to take on students of all levels and work patiently and diligently with them to help them attain a strong understanding of their subject. My belief is that to attain the much-coveted study scores of 40+, one must not only have a strong conceptual grasp of the course but also a familiarity with the subtleties of the exam questions. In order to help do this, I emphasize constant revision of previous content and strong utilization of previous exam papers. My tutoring pace is tailored to match the student and I enjoy presenting my classes in a friendly and encouraging manner. I prefer to take on year 11 students as I have observed this tends to set students up better for year 12 though I am more than happy to help those in their final year.
