Education

I have recently graduated from the International Baccalaureate in Copenhagen International School. I have also completed Scottish National 5s with Grade A for all the subjects I took (Maths, English, French, Geography, History, Biology, Chemistry and Physics). I will begin studies in International Business with Sustainability this academic year.

Experience

I took HL Geography, Economics and English and SL Maths, Physics and French. I loved my IB experience though found it challenging to move between the British schooling system to IB as the format of learning changed so much. I learnt to do this successfully with the help of tutors and I would like to now forward that knowledge to others if it will add to their high school experience. I would also love to tutor younger students who are not yet in the exam process. I have experience both tutoring younger grades (Gr 1-7) but have also been a tennis and swim coach to this age group so I feel entirely comfortable engaging and supporting younger students, believing that positive reinforcement important aspect of tutoring them. I think the most valuable tutors I had had a grasp on applying the textbook material to the outside world and I found this incredibly useful for learning.

Hobbies

I love to learn whether it is in a classroom or outside it. I think having an inspiring tutor changes your mindset of the subject you are facing difficulties with and that is something I'd like to be. I have recently moved from Copenhagen and have a very can do attitude to new people, environments and challenges. I love that Melbourne is full of people from all walks of life and places around the world but also how similar it is to the UK which is home for me - people are so easy to connect with here!!
