Education
I earned my undergraduate in teaching English from the Universidad Catolica de la Santisima Concepcion. I completed additional postgraduate studies in teaching English for primary education at the Universidad del Bio Bio. I then won a scholarship for my academic achievements and teaching performance which allowed me to earn my graduate degree in teaching English as a second language from Monash University.
Experience
I have five years of instructional experience teaching Spanish in Australia at the Brunswick Neighbourhood House and Berlitz Australia. I have an additional three years of experience teaching English in primary grades and one year of experience teaching English at the high school level. I tutor all levels of Spanish. I like to make learning fun. Learning a language requires giving students real world experiences, so I encourage that in all my lessons. I try to include as many games and role playing opportunities as possible to improve students' learning.
