Education
I completed my International Baccalaureate at Kormilda College in Darwin and have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from The University of Melbourne. I earned a Master of Science in Mathematics and Statistics, with a major in applied mathematics, from there as well.
Experience
I am passionate about mathematics. However, one of the most common things I hear about math from others is that they "hated it in high school", or "just couldn't do it". My goal is to impart some of my knowledge and understanding to students, with the hope of changing their often negative thoughts about it. If you keep an open mind, and the subject is presented in a clear and realistic way, you can learn any aspect of math. I have had three years of tutoring experience, both professionally and independently, teaching 11th and 12th grade VCE Math, and occasionally university-level math subjects. I'm more than happy to tutor anyone with math needs, and I'm happy to become familiar with any curriculum to cater my teaching to your needs.
