Education

I received my Bachelor of Arts in German and French from the University of Sydney, in 2008. I also received my Bachelor of Education, in German, French, and TESOL, again from the University of Sydney, in 2008.

Experience

I've worked for nine years in intensive English language schools, preparing newly arrived students to succeed in VCE and at university. My current position is Intensive English Language Centre Coordinator. I have developed excellent skills in teaching pronunciation, fluency, spelling, grammar, text structure, and writing style. I offer tutoring in English and English as a second language. Learning English is very important for people who want to live and work in English-speaking countries. English also serves as a "lingua franca" because it is so commonly spoken as a second language throughout the world, so being able to speak English can enable you to communicate with a broad spectrum of the global population. It is the de facto language of the business community and a knowledge of English can be very beneficial when it comes to economic opportunities.
