Education

I have a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (majoring in political science and history) from Swinburne University of Technology in Victoria, Australia, and a graduate diploma in primary teaching from there as well. In addition, I have a TESOL English Teaching Certification and TEFL Specialization Teaching English to Young Learners.

Experience

I am a tutor in primary school English, reading, writing, science, and math. As a 2nd grade teacher at Krabi International School in Thailand, I created daily lesson plans in accordance with the Cambridge International primary curriculum. I also assessed student performance and reported on progress to maintain strong communication with parents and school staff. Also, I was an ELICOS teacher at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia, teaching English language courses for overseas students with a focus on essay writing, presentation, and discussion. I worked as an English language teacher in South Korea and Thailand as well, having taught everyone from children to adults.

I am a passionate, driven teacher who enjoys delivering engaging, high energy lessons to my students. I have worked as a teacher in a variety of settings including public schools, private academies, a university and most recently in an international school. I am a relaxed, warm guy who likes to spend my spare time playing music or getting outdoors.
