Experience
I have been a maths tutor for year 10 students. I also worked as a teaching assistant and temporary demonstrator for the Department of Botany, at the University of Peradeniya from January 2015 to August 2016. My duties there were to organize, arrange and conduct laboratory sessions for undergraduate students. I also had to prepare the laboratory for practical lessons and examinations and conduct tutorial classes. And I had to participate in organizing and conducting other community-based activities such as workshops, scientific talks, and presentations. Another task that I would do was marking and discussing lab reports, tutorials, and practical examination work. I also would participate in field trips with students and provide guidance on plant identification, sample collection, and herbarium preparation. Furthermore, I provided additional guidance to students in research and laboratory work.
