Education
I am currently in my second year of Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne, having taken economics, accounting, finance and law subjects as part of my first-year courses. I completed my A Level exams at the Royal College of Curepipe (one of the most prestigious secondary schools in Mauritius) before moving to the University of Melbourne in 2017.
Experience
I have had previous tutoring experience in Macroeconomics and Microeconomics in Mauritius for one month as I conducted classes in a bid to help an experienced tutor during a time where his usual assistant had to take leave. I did A Level and O Level classes with batches of 30 students. In Melbourne, I have had a one on one experience in tutoring Microeconomics through Student VIP for 6 months in Semester 2, 2017. Having been taught the value of education while growing up, it would be a personal honour to be able to do a part time job where I can promote the knowledge of the people around me. I have a current high distinction as my weighted average marks at the university and I have scored an A* in each of the three main subjects I have undertaken for my A Level Exams. (Economics, Mathematics and Accounting) Impressive items from my resume would include being a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awardee, being the Headboy of my secondary school, having co-founded an association which helps the elderly and the needy as well as having undertaken internships from three companies up till now.
