Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Drama at Latrobe University, Melbourne. Graduated in 2011. GPA 79.77. Currently completing Honors year in English Literature, focusing on Literary Theory at Latrobe University, Melbourne.
Experience
I would like to be a tutor so as to escape the banal clutches of the hospitality industry. I am currently completing my honors year at Latrobe University, Melbourne, and will soon be starting a Masters of Education (hopefully) at Melbourne University. I love the education system, both the system of learning and the system of teaching, and would like to try my wares as a tutor. I have a double major in English and Drama, mainly leaning towards a theoretic approach to both. I have taken various classes in the history of Modernist Drama, from Modernism to Post Modernism, as well as many English subjects that have traced the trajectory of English over history, including especially the Romantic era and contemporary Postmodern Literature. I particularly think that essays, and essay writing as a form, are my specialties.
