Education
I have a degree in Biotechnology and Medical Research from the University of Tasmania. My major was in Physiology with a Medical Research minor. I also have a first-class honors degree in Physiology from Monash University. My thesis was on visual neuroscience, specifically in electrophysiology. I am also currently studying for a Graduate Diploma of Arts at Monash University, with a focus on Philosophy of Mind. I've also taken online courses in Philosophy of Mind at MIT and Complexity at the Santa Fe Institute.
Experience
I currently work at the Victorian Space Science Education Centre in Strathmore, so I have plenty of experience working with primary and secondary school kids. I also have a working with children check. I used to work as a foundation unit physics tutor at the University of Tasmania, so I also have experience teaching at the university level. I am very curious and a lifelong learner, so it's a pleasure to teach and pass on the wonders of the world I have already explored.
