I graduated with H1 honors, a 4.0 GPA, and an 80+ average. I earned a 95 on my H1 Honors Thesis. I made the Arts Dean's List. I was a winner of the Dwight Prize for French and the Professor A.R. Chisholm Memorial Prize. I also won the Mrs. William Smith Exhibition prize, and I earned a CELTA English Language Teaching Certificate Pass B from RMIT English Worldwide. I have a VCE Highschool Certificate and an ATAR score of 95.15.
Experience
I have over four years of tutoring experience as well as ample volunteer tutoring experience. I have experience in teaching ESL as an academic English language educator. I have spent time in France and speak regularly to native French speakers. This has accelerated my language ability and increased my knowledge of the language and culture. I am very passionate about French and hope to instill a greater appreciation of the language and culture in students. For both ESL and French, I can offer conversation practice, listening practice, proofreading, and help with any inquiries a student may have. For English students, I am well-read and know the set texts for VCE. My knowledge of different languages has improved my facility with written English significantly. I have an advanced knowledge of grammar, and I am able to hold in-depth discussions on specific texts. I can also help students improve their proofreading abilities. As a native English Speaker trained using the CELTA methodology, I am equipped to guide my students in their English language pursuits. Please note: I am an ESL/EAL (English Second/Alternative Language) tutor, not a VCE "English Language" tutor. Please be aware that these are not the same subjects.

I'm a flexible, easygoing and friendly person who likes reading, writing, art, music and learning foreign languages.
