Education

I am a registered provisional psychologist with AHPRA. I have a master's degree in clinical psychology from the University of Melbourne. I also have a bachelor's degree in psychological science with honors from La Trobe University.

Experience

I have been working in counseling, psychotherapy, assessment, and treatment planning at Royal Children's Hospital Placement since 2018. Before that, I worked at the University of Melbourne Psychology Clinic. My honors score aggregate was 85, and my undergraduate score aggregate was 87. I work as a social communication therapist for children with ASD and ADHD in a psychology clinic. I am also a research assistant to develop a social communication treatment program for teens with ASD. My undergraduate, honors, and current master's degree mean I have hands-on experience that will be valuable to psychology students. I have run and currently conduct research projects, frequently stay updated on current evidence-based assessment and treatment, and consume psychological research. I want to support undergrads and school students in psychology (and similar disciplines and subjects) as I am passionate about supporting students. I am warm, personable, organized, and reliable. I have worked with adults, teenagers, and children as young as 8 years old. I am confident in adapting my style to meet the needs of the person I am working with. Personal hobbies are predominantly based in physical activity: eg; running, yoga, and dance. I am a very enthusiastic person, and enjoy hobbies in a positive space. I also enjoy the outdoors, for example, hiking, camping, and rock climbing. I am not a very sporty person as I am very uncoordinated! But I love all forms of physical activity, e.g, recreational netball.
