Education
I earned a Doctorate with distinction from La Trobe University, Australia. I also have a Master of Marketing from Melbourne University - Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Monash University. I have a Diploma of Training and Assessment Systems from Baytech Institute and Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training from Baytech Institute. Other achievements of mine include becoming a master trainer at FranklinCovey Vietnam and a master trainer in Cambridge English. I also completed the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Program.
Experience
I am a proactive, strategic thinker. I am a multi-skills and multi-talented education specialist with an extensive background in universities and colleges in Australia and overseas. I was recently the Dean of the Business for 3.5 years and Dean of Hospitality & Tourism for 2.5 years for Broward College - Vietnam (BCV). BCV is one of the eight international campuses of Broward College, Florida, one of the top three colleges in the U.S. I am also a visiting lecturer at the University of Economics HCMC in the Western Sydney University post-graduate and undergraduate programs and the University of Quebec EMBA program. I deliver all courses in English. I have also been Programs Director for Federation University, Australia, for all cooperation programs in Vietnam. This involved in-country negotiation and preparation and presentation of proposals plus continued liaison with Vietnamese contacts, including the Ministry of Education and Training. I have lectured and trained in hospitality and tourism, marketing, management, business communications, strategy, and entrepreneurship for various companies and higher education organizations. I have also trained, mentored, and lectured to business people and postgraduate and undergraduate students from over 72 countries.
