I have several years of experience working as a tutor. I specialize in teaching a wide range of primary and secondary school subjects. I have a talent for figuring out where and why a student is struggling and then making plans to help the student make steady improvement in those areas. I've earned numerous recommendations from both students and parents for my effective tutoring. When tutoring students I explain concepts and theories in an easy to understand and practical way. I break down complex problems to individual learning levels and often give students short quizzes at the end of each session to assess progress so that the learning plan can be revised and adapted as needed to keep the student on track.
