Philip T.
Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia
Education
I studied at Victoria University for my Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Commercial Law. I graduated in 2003. In 2017, I earned my Master of Professional Accounting at Swinburne University.
Experience
I am a sessional academic at RMIT and Swinburne University in accounting, finance, and taxation for undergraduate students. I also helped students pursuing their master's understand key concepts in economics and contract and corporations law, as well as management accounting. I love to help and guide students in problem-solving and understanding key issues and concepts of each topic. Being a tutor has its own rewards, such as adding value to the learning of students, especially while they are required to study in their own time. I feel that, through my knowledge of several business areas, I can amplify the quality of their studies and explain things that are not covered in lectures or tutorials and sections. Students often ask if there is a particular way of solving certain questions, and I am happy to guide them through these strategies and techniques.
