Education

I am a third-year Bachelor of Science student majoring in Human Structure and Function. I am studying at the University of Melbourne. I graduated high school in Queensland in 2017 with a 99.20 ATAR. In 2019, I studied as an exchange student at Boston College for a semester and received a 4.0 GPA. I completed the HSK Chinese Exam at Level 6.

Experience

Since starting university in 2018, I have been tutoring high school students and I thoroughly enjoyed the process of helping students achieve the results they aimed for. Throughout this time, I have refined my method of teaching and discovered how students learn best. I am excited to bring this knowledge to you, so hopefully, we will work together soon. My method of teaching is flexible, as I believe that different students learn very differently. Through our first lesson, we could discuss the ways you would like to learn, and from there on I will structure my lessons to suit your learning style. In addition to short-term academic improvement, I believe that long-term advancement is a crucial aspect of a successful academic journey. For this goal to be achieved, it requires the development of certain study skills and mindset. Hence, I also hope to teach you study methods that will deliver academic independence and efficiency, to help you navigate through high school and beyond. I have many achievements. While pursuing my Bachelor of Science, I made the Dean's Honors List. I received the Melbourne Global Scholars Award, University of Melbourne Nation Merit Scholarship, Principal's academic award, Principal's merit award, Academic awards, first in Science and Engineering Challenge, and second in the Mathematics team challenge. In addition, I was an intern at Brigham and Women's Hospital in the Hematology Division, as well as an Ormond College Scholar and Ormond College Learning Program Coordinator.
