Education
I completed year 12 with VCE in 2002. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2010 before obtaining my Bachelor of Communication in Graphic Design with First-Class Honors in 2017 at the Swinburne University of Technology.
Experience
I have been a tutor for students in years 7 through 12 as part of the Marngo Designing Futures program, which works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander secondary students in developing leadership and exploring creative pathways and careers in design and innovation. I have worked there for over three years. As a result, I've found I love teaching and sharing my skills, specifically helping students with their formal writing for resumes, cover letters, and CVs, as well as assisting with interview prep, presentation and public speaking skills, and creative folio preparation. Even the best creative work can be let down by poor folio presentation and interview skills. My experience as an honors student and in the design industry has given me the ability to help any student present their work in the best possible way to ensure an interview at their preferred university or workplace. Year 12 students or graduates looking to apply to creative courses such as studio art, fine art, textiles design, fashion design, photography, graphic, or communication design can work with me to get their folio and interview skills to the best possible standard for both interviews and year 12 final submissions.
