Education

After school I took a gap year and studied a diploma of Jazz Music, I then studied Engineering and Business for 3 years. While I was studying Engineering and Business I started tutoring, both privately and in schools. I really enjoyed teaching so I changed degrees and am currently in my 3rd year of studying Education and Science (Majoring in mathematics, and Minoring in mathematical statistics, so lots and lots of Maths).

Experience

I have been tutoring since 2012, both privately and in schools. I have tutored from year 7 to first year university Maths including Specialist, Methods, and Further Mathematics in VCE. Other than Maths, I have also have experience teaching music and dance. I am currently the head of mathematics at a secondary school and TA at Monash University. My range of experience as a teacher, and as a student, has given me knowledge of how different people learn, and of different ways that I can explain concepts to people.

Hobbies

I am a bit of a hobbyist. My main hobby is Music. I play guitar, compose, and get classical singing lessons. From my love of Latin American music I became interested in dance, mainly salsa. I like to learn languages, I speak Spanish and am learning to speak Italian. I love food (like most people) and love to cook, I want to travel to learn to cook my favourite cuisines
