Education
I currently study a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre) at the Australian Institute of Music, having graduated VCE in 2016. I completed Music Performance as part of my studies, as well as two years of classical training where I completed Grade 4 AMEB for Classical Voice. I have eleven years experience performing in amateur musicals, where some of my roles included Understudy Christine Daae (The Phantom of The Opera), Understudy Dorothy Gale (The Wizard of Oz), and Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), as well as Belle (Beauty and The Beast jr.).
Experience
I have always enjoyed working with children; and the opportunity to help them develop and achieve their potential in an area I am passionate about is a great joy for me. It can be difficult in a classroom environment for some students to receive individual feedback, especially when their enthusiasm for a certain subject isn't shared by their classmates or their teacher. I believe my purpose as a tutor is to offer feedback and development strategies that cater to the needs and goals of the individual.

I hobbies and interests include an extensive love for reading novels of various genres; writing stories (also of varying genres); Studying accents, voice production and language; and working on singing, acting and dancing in preparation for a career in Musical Theatre. I thoroughly enjoy literary web-series (in which a work of classic literary fiction is adapted as a YouTube 'vlog'), and 'Let's plays' (where YouTubers combine their talent for video production and their enthusiasm for video games). I am particularly fond of Pinterest and the extensive visual creativity it inspires.
