Education
I currently study a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre) at the Australian Institute of Music, having graduated VCE in 2016. I completed Music Performance as part of my studies, as well as two years of classical training where I completed Grade 4 AMEB for Classical Voice. I have eleven years experience performing in amateur musicals, where some of my roles included Understudy Christine Daae (The Phantom of The Opera), Understudy Dorothy Gale (The Wizard of Oz), and Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), as well as Belle (Beauty and The Beast jr.).
Experience
I have always enjoyed working with children; and the opportunity to help them develop and achieve their potential in an area I am passionate about is a great joy for me. It can be difficult in a classroom environment for some students to receive individual feedback, especially when their enthusiasm for a certain subject isn't shared by their classmates or their teacher. I believe my purpose as a tutor is to offer feedback and development strategies that cater to the needs and goals of the individual.
