Fully Registered Mathematics VCE Teacher for Tutoring About me: I am a qualified secondary school VCE teacher in the area of Mathematics. I have held teaching positions in Government and Private Schools in Melbourne as well as overseas in London. I am currently a fully registered teacher with Victorian Institute of Teaching which covers a Working with Children and Police Check. Proof of my registration available on request. Services: I provide mathematics tutoring services for the following: Mathematics Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 Mathematical Methods (CAS) Units 1, 2, 3 & 4 (Year 11 &12) LANTITE ACER Numeracy Test for Aspiring Teachers Education: Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne (2010) with a double major in Mathematics -Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education (2011) Australian Catholic University with the teaching methods Mathematics and Science. Session: Professional worksheets, topic specific practice tests and real exam questions will be provided at each session. I focus on teaching course work and theory students are currently learning or about to start in class. The aim will be to always work ahead of class. This will reinforce the students learning so they can maximise the use of class time to its full potential. I will teach all the key concepts from a topic in each session. This will allow the student to revise the topic several times before a test depending on its duration in class. I will provide several resources for worded type questions that aim to mimic exam style questions. This will ensure the student is experiencing problem solving on a regular basis. I will focus on specific content for any upcoming SACs, tests, exams to ensure the student is fully prepared as required. My lessons are tailored to individual needs and build confidence by developing numeracy skills. Mathematical understanding of key concepts and positive test results increase following my tutoring sessions.
Experience
Experience: I have worked as a Mathematics teacher full time for over five years. I have successfully tutored and taught across both junior and senior schools, at years 7 through to year 10, VCE Mathematics, Maths Methods and Further Mathematics.
