I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from UCLA. I am pursuing my Master of Biomedical Science in the same field at the University of Melbourne.
Experience
I am friendly, flexible, and responsible. I have two years of experience tutoring students of ages eight to 40. I always try 100% to help my students achieve their goals. I do so through a clear and straightforward teaching style and by catering my sessions to each student's needs. If I am helping a student prepare for the SAT Mathematics, I can go over the test's expectations, types of questions, and other aspects to ensure there are no surprises on the testing day. I can break down concepts into their base principles to help students understand on a deeper level. In addition to math and biology topics, I can tutor students in Mandarin Chinese. I can lead them through conversations to practice listening and speaking skills.
