Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia

Education

I have undergone both a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science -Majoring in Neuroscience. I achieved First Class Honours in 2017 graduating with a g.p.a of 6.72 whilst additionally completing my second year of Medicine in James Cook University. In addition I have been accepted into two medical schools both Deakin University's Doctor of Medicine (2018) and James Cook Universities Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (2017).

Experience

I am an experienced GAMSAT and Medical entry tutor, and can tutor both medical interviews, portfolio applications and every section of the GAMSAT. The reason I can do this is due to my extensive experience in applying for medicine in Australia. I applied and was accepted into James Cook Universities Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2017. As well as then applying and being accepted into the Doctor of Medicine at Deakin University in 2018. As a result I understand what medical schools are looking for to a degree not privy to most individuals. I have sat the GAMSAT numerous times improving more than 28 overall, this is what has made me such an effective tutor. I understand what this psychometric exam requires in a way that is not privy too most, I didn't do the GAMSAT once, get a good score and now think I am a master, nor did I do a prep course once, and just regurgitate their teachings in my tunes. I have tried most of the GAMSAT courses and even work for one of the "big" GAMSAT companies. As a result, I have worked with hundreds of students and have been able to see firsthand what works and what doesn't, with them and also with myself. I bring this experience to my tutes to ensure that the time we spend tutoring and the material we cover is only high yield content, so you can see yourself improve immediately. Consequentially I have improved all of my students’ overall marks in the GAMSAT, many achieving marks of 80+ in s2 and S3 from previous marks of <60). In addition, I am not isolated solely in GAMSAT Tuition, I am also an experienced Interview, portfolio and medical application tutor. All of my private interview students have gotten into medicine for a range of universities including Melbourne University, Deakin, Macquarie, and James Cook University. I believe this is strictly because of my personalised and comprehensive approach, and the fact I have a vested interest for all of my students to get into medicine, as I have been in the same position myself. All in all, I understand how sitting the GAMSAT or your medical interview can be a costly endeavour. I wish to be a reprieve from the big GAMSAT companies, you shouldn't have to be wealthy to get GAMSAT tutoring, nor to study for the GAMSAT. I aim to bring all my knowledge and experience so that you can get the professional private tuition that every student deserves at an affordable price.
