I am currently earning a bachelor's degree in science from the University of Melbourne. My prospective major is in pharmacology. I completed an IB Diploma and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Experience
I have earned a 7 in HL English and HL History and a 6 in HL Chemistry and SL Music. I am also able to give general IB tutoring and help with other areas of the diploma. I am a large advocate for the IB, and I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I can help with essay writing, exam tips, and understanding concepts for these subjects. In history, I have specifically covered topics like P1: The Move to Global War (Japan, Italian, and German expansion); P2: Authoritarian States (Stalin, Hitler, and Mao), Causes and Effects of 20th Century Wars (WWI, Europe, WWII, Algerian War of Independence); P3 Europe and the First World War, the European States in the Interwar Years and Diplomacy in Europe. I can help with essay writing and preparing for exams. I received a 7 on my IA, and I can provide researching methods and tips. I studied the medicinal chemistry option in Chemistry HL. I can help with exam skills and study tips, as well as cover content from the course. I have a lot of experience with English literature poetry (for both P1 and P2). I received a 7 for P1, IOP, and IOC. I am experienced with poetry analysis and essay writing. I received a 7 for the music exam. I can provide study and test-taking tips. I can also walk through some examples in Section B of the exam and provide methods for analyzing unfamiliar music. I can also cover some basic content and analysis skills. I have also retained many of my notes for these subjects, and I am happy to use them while tutoring.
