I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting. I am a member of the Institute of Public Accountants in Australia, as well as the Institute of Financial Accountants.
Experience
If you would like to learn accounting from a professional accountant, then I am the tutor for you. I have an extensive background in commercial accounting and can use real-life examples and experiences to convey the essence of a text or concept. I enjoy my profession and get a buzz from helping others pick it up. I use a variety of methods to articulate the processes and techniques of VCE Accounting and my goal is to support you on your VCE journey. I am familiar with units 1 to 4. My specific areas of focus are statements of accounting concepts, single and double-entry accounting, both special and general journals, balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements, balance day adjustments, depreciation and accounting for non-current assets, taxation and the GST, perpetual inventory, FIFO, stock cards, stock take, inventory valuation, budgeting, analysis, and interpretation.
