Hi, my name is Candice. I have been tutoring the scholarship program for many years and I also publish my own scholarship exam for the students. Over 90% of my students have been successful in obtaining scholarships or gained entry into selective schools.
Experience
In 2018, I have opened my own tuition centre, Impact Education (located near the Glen shopping centre in Glen Waverley) to offer more spots for students who need help in this area. I have coached many students in the past and most of them have improved significantly after the tuition. The tuition fee includes access to learning materials and practice exams that are specially designed for each student. I understand that every student learns differently, thus, my teaching is personalised to satisfy the need of each student. To strengthen their skill in problem interpretation, it is important for the student to have an exhaustive understanding of the topic. Thus, I always prompt students with hints to that lead them to discover the solution rather than just ‘showing them the answer.’ This way, students will also be able to complete the questions independently in the future.
